Throughout the College of Arts and Sciences, students work with faculty as they learn the disciplines essential to research and enjoy the creativity and accomplishment of problem-solving. Every department has opportunities for student-initiated research. There is nothing more satisfying than being able to combine your classroom learning with your particular interests to design and execute a research project of your own. And there are workshops, funding, and other support available to help you succeed in this.
