Lindsey Yap - Ni-IDA Modified Peptide for Dimerization of Proteins via His-Tag

A method of dimerizing proteins using nickel-IDA groups attached by a polyproline type II helix. This method provides an alternative way of bringing proteins together in order to study protein-protein interactions.
Lindsey Yap is a junior biochemistry major from Seattle, Washington. She expects to graduate from Lehigh with honors in the spring of 2013. She has worked with Dr. Marcos Pires' research group since the fall of 2011 and plans to continue working in the lab during her senior year.
