Anthropologists, including archeologists, study the world's peoples and their material and non-material cultures, within comparative and historical frameworks. Research and teaching focus on diverse areas of social and cultural life such as rituals, livelihood strategies, international development, health and illness, gender, and environmental influences on behavior. |
Sociology
