Asia/GCP/MLL/WS-73 Film, Fiction & Gender in Modern China 4 Credits Study of the struggle for an individual “modern” identity out of traditionally defined roles for men and women as depicted by Chinese writers and filmmakers. What do these texts teach about reality, humanity, divinity, and society? How is the path of spiritual practice presented in the different traditions?
