As Academic Coordinator, I manage the Sociology & Anthropology office, assist faculty and students, maintain our department web site, handle publicity for all visiting lecturers and other academic events, and write the Price Hall Report, our department newsletter. I am originally from New York City and my background is in publishing with John Wiley & Sons in their higher education division. I also have experience in graphic design when retail catalogs were still being created through camera-ready copy!  Editing, proofreading, and light copy writing were some of the hats I wore.

A Tradition of Excellence Award was presented to me in May 2008. This award is very special to me because my former work/study student, Jillian Kelly, was the person who nominated me. I was also the recipient of a Spot Bonus Award in 2008 for my work in helping to establish our new Social Science Data Center. In 2007, I was the recipient of the Hillman Award, given for advancing the interests of Lehigh University. I also received a Tradition of Excellence Award, nominated by our chairperson Judy Lasker. And finally, in 1999 I received the Zirkel Staff Award for Outstanding Performance and Contributions to Lehigh University. Okay, enough.
