Zachary deCant received Departmental Honors at Lehigh's 141st Commencement, on May 18, 2009.  The title of his thesis is Abdulkarim Soroush: Expanding and Contracting Religious Authority in Iran.

Benjamin Wright was the recipient of the Eleanor and Joseph F. Libsch Research Award, which honors excellence in research, scholarship, and/or artistic achievement, at Lehigh’s annual Appreciation Dinner.
